A little less than 10 years ago, Dustin & Katie LeBleu looked for a way to be a blessing to Harrison and the surrounding areas. Recognizing that there were already great organizations - doing great things - they decided the best way to help would be to found a non-profit organization that would allow them to parter with others in the community. It was out of their hearts of compassion that they started the Carter Grace Foundation, named after their two children.
In 2021, to help guide, direct and oversee the mission of the organization, Bob Brown was hired as the Executive Director. Under his leadership, The Carter Grace Foundation has strengthened its relationships with partner organizations and has been laser focused on utilizing the resources available in the most impactful ways possible.
The CarterGrace Foundation began working in Harrison and surrounding communities a little less than ten years ago. The desire of CarterGrace is to stand in the gap for the disadvantaged, whether that be individual people, through area schools or just partnering with local organizations. There is an incredible need for the work that Carter Grace Foundation is doing, evidenced by the fact that Carter Grace has given over $500,000.00 to a variety of outreach opportunities in those ten years.
This has been done organically by simply seeking those who need help and supplying whatever is needed to be of assistance. CarterGrace is a local, privately funded non-profit organization that receives no local or federal funding of any kind.
Our passion is simply to do all we can, for as long as we can, in as many ways as we can and for as many people as we can.
